Alma De Ace’ Top 5 Tracks | September

We had a chat with the head honcho of clothing brand Alma De Ace to see what his current top 5 tracks are…

Coma – Lora (Robag’s Fandara Qualv NB)

Awesome rework of Cologne-based duo ComaLora” by Robag Wruhme. This one’s a couple years old but is one of my recent favourites and can’t get enough of listening to it. It’s a gentle build up which is something of a treat. The few lyrics that come in build on the track’s journey and is a really spacious house treat.

Paul McCartney & Wings vs Timo Maas & James Teej ‘1985’ (Kerri Chandler Kaoz 623 Again)

It’s got a thick, teasing bassline running through the track that’s set against Paul’s soothing vocals and scattered with cymbals that add to the track. This is one of my personal favourites to get in the mood on a night out. Has that groovy beat that gets you going and of course its adapted by Kerri Chandler!

Glenn Lewis – Good One (Culoe De Song Remix)

Part of Germany’s Innervisions alongside Dixon and Âme. Heard this one on Culoe De Songs’s Mixmag DJ set and ever since have loved the remix. 7 minutes of pure class from the South African.

Leon Vynehall – Butterflies

This one just never gets old and is a real groover. From the Clone Royal Oak label in Holland, this one is driven by is piano notes and sporadic intervals of occasional lyrics which never gets boring. This one you can just picture being an instant hit for any DJ set kicking back the early hours in the morning before sunrise!

Frankey & Sandrino – Solaris (Original Mix)

Strong synths coming in all around the place getting you in the mood for it all with its energetic sounds. One definitely to be played late into the night and definitely one of my recent favourites over the summer.
