Q1. So, tell us where you departed from and landed into today?

I have just flown from London Town and landed in the beautiful white isle Ibiza.

Q2. Is this a one-off show, or part of a bigger tour? (If a tour, tell us where you have been so far)

Since the 3rd June this year I’ve flown out each week for my first ever Ibiza residency which is at Hï Ibiza.

Q3. What venue are you playing tonight and who else is on the line up?

I play Hï Ibiza in Playa d’en Bossa (it’s just been voted the number 1 club in the world by DJ Mag).  I have the delight of opening up the main theatre room. Getting things in full swing for David Guetta & Morten who are the head honchos and we have a bunch of guests including Diplo, Bintage Culture, Miss Monique and loads more. I’m the club room you’ll find resident Idris Elba and in the World Corner (the WC) you’ll find the likes of Fat Tony, Paul Reynolds and more.

Q4. What is one item you can’t travel without?

My anti static hair brush 😂. My hair likes to go wild in the heat, so I often tie it back to stop it going wild or getting tangled in my headphones whilst I play!

Q5. Tell us your typical gig schedule – do you get to see much of the places you visit? (Where are you playing in the next coming months?)

Monday – Thursday I do my radio show 4-7am on BBC Radio 1 then from 8am on a Thursday I begin a weekend of gigging. If it’s peak summer I’ll maybe have a gig at a UK festival on the Thursday evening, then I fly out to Ibiza for the residency then often on the Saturday I’m Straight to another gig in Europe or back in the UK. Sundays I get to rest once I’m home!

Q6. One thing you hate about being on the road?

Rubbish Wi-Fi and dry airport food. I actually really enjoy being on the road I find it quite peaceful.

Q7. Tell us the worst / funniest thing that’s happened to you whilst on the road?

The funniest thing was when I was sat in the aisle seat of a plane from East Midlands airport to ibiza. I’d had a late gig and was pretty knackered and I’m one of those who always falls asleep on the plane – but I’m a proper head bobber. It bounces round everywhere apparently. Well on this particular occasion I bobbed so hard to the right I fell out of my seat and woke up crumpled in the aisle. There were some excellent faces trying not to laugh around me.

Q8. Finally, what new music do you have coming up in your schedule that you can tell us about?

I’ve just released my latest single You Can’t Stop Me on Edible Records. I’ve been road testing it all over since March and it’s been going down a storm! The last time I played it in Hi, people were screaming it was infectious.

The next release after that will be a remix for a duo I’ve loved for a long long time. They’ve been kind enough to give me the keys to my favourite song from them, it’s been an absolute honour to sprinkle some of my magic on it.
