He also has a 2 track EP coming out on Pursuit Records with Joey White on 12th AugustPRE ORDER

Q1. So, tell us where you departed from and landed into today?

To be honest I departed straight from my bed in the Netherlands to 2 shows not far from here. So only cars today šŸ˜‰

Q2. Is this a one-off show, or part of a bigger tour?

So today I have 2 Festivals on the program. We start in Amsterdam and than going to Haarlem

Q3. What venue are you playing tonight and who else is on the line up?

I’m playing at Komm Schon AlterDas Festival. And yes I know it’s a German name, but believe me it’s in Amsterdam. It will be my first time playing at this Festival. Some other names who are playing are Dominik Eulberg, Einmusik, Joris Delacroix, VNTM, Egbert, Secret Cinema and many others.

Q4. What is one item you canā€™t travel without?

My earplugs. I forgot them 1 time, maybe 8 years ago…and since then I have tinnitus. So I’m not going without them anymore.

Q5. Tell us your typical gig schedule ā€“ do you get to see much of the places you visit?

My gig schedule has been disrupted by Covid. Now finally things are starting again. But before covid, when I would still fly around, most of the times I arrived late and the next day I had to fly to another gig…and most of the time with a big hangover haha. So I didn’t see that much from the places I visited.

Q6. One thing you hate about being on the road?

It can be lonely and it’s all about waiting. Waiting for the train, flight, driver etc.

Q7. Finally, tell is the worst / funniest thing thatā€™s happened to you whilst on the road?

At the particular moment it was one of the worst things that happened, but now it’s really funny. One night at an event somewhere in Portugal, a stripper took me somewhere backstage. And the place was really dark… And when I wanted to go back to the dance floor I took probably the wrong door/room. I did a couple steps and I felt through the floor. Literally my legs and hips were dangled from the ceiling. I was left with a lot of bruises, tore my pants and lost my earring and earplug haha.

Q8. Finally, what new music do you have coming up in your schedule that you can tell us about?

On the 12th of August I have a new EP on Pursuit. There is also something really nice coming, but I can’t say much about it at the moment. – PRE ORDER
