Q1. So, tell us where you have departed from and landed into today?
We got today to Dusseldorf where we have our debut for the amazing Kiesgrube in a few hours! Kesh got here from Rotterdam and I flew in from Porto.
Q2. Do you have any other exciting bookings for the rest of the year? (What dates and where?)
Yes, absolutely! We have Kingsland Festival in Rotterdam coming up on April 27th, our own NoZzo Open Air event in Germany on May 30th, Elrow at Off Sonar June 16th, Elrow Amnesia on June 29th, our debut at Ants Ushuaia July 27th and another performance with Paco Osuna’s Now Here events at the mighty Hi on September 3rd. Besides of that we play many other shows and festivals across Europe. We’re super excited!!
Q3. What venue are you playing tonight and who else is on the line up?
Tonight we’re playing at the Opening of the Kiesgrube / Keezy. We’re super excited for this one and the venue looks incredible. We will play alongside Gordo, Franky Rizardo, Butch, Maqossa and others.
Q4. How did you first become a duo?
We met at a local basketball club where we played together. After a while we didn’t only pass the ball to each other but started also to pass music and share some tracks. As we got deeper into mixing we soon began to throw parties together and also to perform as a duo.
Q5. What is one item you can’t travel without?
For me it’s definitely the headphones while for Tomi are the AirPods his life saver! Lots of times we have to wait at the airport and then it’s music that helps us to survive those boring hours.
Q6. Tell us your typical gig schedule – do you get to see much of the places you visit?
Usually, we arrive pretty tired at the new place because we were obviously the last ones who left the afters. Then we rest a little before going to the gig. If we have enough time thought, we for sure love to see and discover new places… but also new afters.
Q7. One thing you hate about being on the road?
Not having our own beds with us and the hours spent at the airports.
Q8. Tell us the worst / funniest thing that’s happened to you whilst on the road?
Believe it or not, while I (Tomi) was sleeping at a friend’s house and his two dogs ate my passports! When I got to the Croatian embassy, I explained what happened… they made pictures of my passports and hung them on the wall of their office! This was for sure the funniest and craziest thing that happened to us!
Q9. How often do you produce music when on the road, if so, what does your production setup consist of?
To be honest, when we’re on tour we don’t produce that much music. We really produce a lot when we’re at home, so we use the tours to take a little break and get some new inspiration and fresh ideas.
Q10. Finally, what new music do you have coming up in your schedule that you can tell us about?
We have the ’Bine Bine‘ EP coming up on wAFF’s imprint‚ Nature by the end of this month. Three tracks with different vibes for the dance floor.
Besides of that we can announce that we worked on an Edits Album that we will drop in the summertime on Bandcamp. It’s our first one so we are very happy with the result and can’t wait to share it with ya’ll. We also have lots of other tracks and we’re currently looking for the right labels for them. Keep your ears open!
