Summer is approaching swiftly, inviting the season of pool parties, exotic travels to the Mediterranean, and music-filled fiestas. Preparing for such delights, Underground Audio is proud to present ‘Unidos’ by Yacine Dessouki, including remixes from Ray Okpara, SIS (official page), and Rudosa. The release date for the EP is June 24th.
This four track EP features a beautifully Balearic theme resonant throughout the tracks, building a warm, summery ambience, emphasised with a hypnotic vocal motif. The original begins with an upbeat, percussion filled original crafted by Yacine. Deep, dissonant bass movements grouped with a heavy kick complete this track for a peak-time uplifting set.
‘Unidos’ is illustrated further by three excellent remixes, enhancing the underlying balearic theme demonstrated within the original track further. The warmth of summer is perfectly captured by the majestic remix from SIS. Adding emphasis to the mesmerising theme, this remix brings feelings of smooth seas, and a soft breeze, while still maintaining the energy of the original.
Ray Okpara takes the track further through his signature slick bass grooves, subtle percussive elements, and a deep kick pulsating throughout the track. This thumping remix is perfect to get the crowd trippy and grooving during both the early and late hours of the night.
Hard-hitting kicks and a fast paced bass riff drive the final remix into overdrive, moulding the original track into a techno weapon through Rudosa’s keynote sound. The seamless layering of the original entrancing motif ties this track together, while also adding an air of mystery. Rudosa’s peak-time techno slammer brings the EP to a powerhouse finish.
