Drumcode at Tobacco Dock back again in London, and what another smashing event it was! From entering the venue we were welcomed with deep melodic techno hits that made us aware of what we were in store for throughout the day.
Boxia got things under control in the main room and he took the entering crowds through a techno journey to be remembered. Serious vibes!
Another act we made sure to catch was Kevin Over who warmed up the Great Gallery. He played the opening set and he mixed through a style in between house & techno as he claims… They say the opening set for a DJ is the most crucial part of the event… Kevin definitely kept that under control!
We also had a chat with the man himself backstage just after his set. He talks us through how his performance went, what we can expect to hear from him with his next releases, what his biggest highlight so far from 2016 is, who his biggest inspiration is plus more… Click Here to view the interview.
Our favourite part of that venue has to be the be the Car Park. The sound generates so perfect it makes you never want to leave… We caught Dense & Pika‘s performance in there and the vibe from front to back was immense. The duo sure know how to control the crowd with the most amazing stomping techno! We caught some amazing footage of their set, Click Here to view the video.
A massive thank you to Drumcode & LWE for having us down again and we can’t wait to party with you again at Junction 2 festival in 2017!
