I had a brief catch up with artist Brett Gould to speak about what were his top 3 tracks to play this year. I also asked him a question on his 2016 plans.

1. Kydus & Yousef feat. the Angel – Jupiter Rising Circus Recordings

Kydus has really established himself this year & Yousef is a legend in his own right. I love my tribal grooves and this is perefect…. But the Voice Of Angel is without a doubt the best voice I have heard in house music for years… Its just class. I closed the Lightbox with this in July. Unbelievable.

2. Hardrive – Deep Inside (Low Steppa Remix) Strictly Rhythm

You could play the original and it gets the biggest reaction of the night anyway… But this mix is epic. I played this at The Horse and Groom in Shoreditch. It went off!

3. Metodi Hristov – Step Outside (Metodi Hristov 2015 Remix) [Glasgow Underground]

I love the groove in this track. Its solid. For me its perfect house music. Its all about the little sounds & FX throughout the track. I played this at Fire and it destroyed the floor. Metodi has carved his sound out and all the top boys know who he is… Big things ahead for him.

Q. What you expecting to happen with your music for next year?

I want to establish myself fully on the international circuit. I now have my own sound, so people know exactly what they get from me, were have to wait and see…
