Kicking off another week, we caught up with ANASTASiiA to see what her current Top 5 Tracks she has recently produced herself.
ANASTASiiA – Melancholy
1. The first track of my choice is definitely my newest one called “Melancholy“. This track is about my current direction in music. I’m always looking for new inspiration. Whatever I feel and hear I’m trying to put that into music.
So this one is kind of a melancholy feeling that I’ve experienced recently about the art of my music. I often find myself digging deep into my work trying to improve and develop my tracks. Sometimes simplicity is pure magic but as a producer I complicate things hoping that something unique comes out of it. Im obsessed with the idea of creating something unique, something totally different, this helps me move forward. That’s all about Melancholy.
ANASTASiiA – Timeless
2. The next track “Timeless” is also produced by me. I love Timeless because I think this is the best work I’ve done so far. Im very happy with the euphoric melody, it gives me goose bumps every time I play it. It’s easy to get lost in this sound. Timeless helped me find myself, I refer to Timeless as my sound.
ANASTASiiA – Ocean
3. “Ocean” is my third pick. I was going through some sad emotional times. The melody for this track came to mind at 3 am, I had to force myself to get up and record it in my daw with my neighbor banging on my wall till 6am. It was such an unexpected production and to my surprise Ocean made it in the top 100 BeatPort Progressive House. This is one of the highlights of my career.
ANASTASiiA – Spiral
4. “Spiral” is my next choice on the list. The crowd really loves it, theres always a good reaction and seeing this makes me proud. That is a very uplifting melody. So you can see my direction in music was changed again.
ANASTASiiA – Skyline
5. And my final track is Skyline. Also produced by me as I’m really in love with what I do and I’m proud of it. It’s very trancy. The genre that inspired me (trance) was the first I started listen to when I was 5 years old! I remember that very good. Children by Robert Miles is still classic one and in my opinion it’ll never change. So skyline is just the reminder of trance as one of the greatest genres of music ever.
