Last week we caught up with Seb Zito as he flew into Berlin to play at the mighty Watergate. He then went on to continue his busy schedule with playing in Amsterdam for Abode.

Q1. So, tell us where you departed from and landed into today?

From my home town London into Berlin.

Q2. Is this a one-off show, or part of a bigger tour?

It’s a one off show but I do have another gig in Amsterdam the following day with Abode. 

Q3. What venue are you playing tonight and who else is on the line up?

Watergate in Berlin, super excited as I haven’t played there in a few years.

Scuba will be playing upstairs, hopefully our set times don’t clash as I really admire him as a DJ & producer.

Q4. What is one item you can’t travel without?

Hate to say it but other then the obvious (music)… My phone, has everything on it and I pretty much operate from it. Doing this interview now on it 😂

Q5. Tell us your typical gig schedule – do you get to see much of the places you visit? (

I wish it’s literally go Airport, Hotel, Club, Hotel, Airport (sometimes after party).

I’m a father so I like to get home ASAP but in the future I would like to take my family to some of the more exotic gigs.

I have Milan, London, Manchester, Miami & South America to look forward to this month.

Q6. One thing you hate about being on the road?

Being away from my family 

Q7. Tell us the worst / funniest thing that’s happened to you whilst on the road?

Ok so I have the worse luck in flying. In the summer I was flying to Croatia and we was delayed for 5 hours at the airport. Pretty much everyone on this flight was going to party so you know what everyone did for 5 hours…. Drink.

When we got on the flight some idiot was harassing one of the female flight attendants. He wouldn’t stop so someone banged him out. Police got called, held on the flight for another 2 hours.

At this point I’ve missed my show but was unable to get of the flight.

Flew to Croatia, drove 2 hours to the hotel, slept 2 hours then did the journey back home.

Guess what, the flight home was delayed for 3 hours. 😭😭😭😭

Q8. Finally, what new music do you have coming up in your schedule that you can tell us about?

Just release an EP on eastenderz, remix out in December on Discotek, EP early January on my Seven Dials label and another EP out in Feb but I’m gonna keep that one quiet for now. Also a remix for Defected in Spring.
