We had a chat with some of the resident DJs from the London born brand, ABODE. After the massive success of the brand, with it being one of London’s number one parties, the resident DJs are all making a good name for themselves too within the underground music scene.
We spoke with Will Taylor, Ellie Cocks, Artikal, Lindsey Mathews, George Harrison & Jimmy Switch who are part of the ABODE resident DJs to see what they are all getting up to over in Ibiza this year…
Where can we see you playing over in Ibiza this year?
Firstly I’ll be opening with ABODE at Sankeys, Ibiza which will be a weekly residency every Friday! We will be hosting our own boat party called ABOAT which will be once a month. The ticket will include entry to our once a month appearance at Sundays at Space.
Playing at the Space Closings is massive! What style sets can we expect to hear from you?
I won’t be changing anything from what I normally do… I love making the crowd dance an thats what I’m here to do.

This is our new project that I will be strongly involved in, we are going to bring our ABODE (good vibes) to the ocean. So expect sunsets, big beats & smiles when you’re aboard ABOAT.

You’ve started to release your own productions, will these continue to be released whilst you are over in Ibiza?
Production is something thats taken a while but finally come together at the right time! I have a few of my own releases coming out as well as a remix due out in July! I will continue to produce music whilst in Ibiza as its the music capital of the world! I can’t wait for the future for the whole ABODE family its only going to get better!
Where can we see you playing over in Ibiza this year?
This summer in Ibiza, I have a residency at Sankeys every Friday for ABODE which I’m really looking forward to! I have also been asked to play at Amnesia on the terrace for Together – shouts to Hannah Wants for getting me on board and last but not least, I have a few dates at for Sundays at Space, which is where we will be partying after ABOAT, our new monthly boat party!

I still cant believe I’m going to be playing on Space’s final season, im so grateful! I love my Tech House, so expect a lot of that!
You’ve started to release your own productions, will these continue to be released whilst you are over in Ibiza?
Yeah I have just recently finished an EP collab with Max Chapman which will be released mid July on Resonance Records which is really exciting! I’m definitely planning on to produce a bit more out there on my own, as I still have a lot to learn! Thats the plan!
Where can we see you playing over in Ibiza this year?
I will firstly be starting my residency at Sankeys for ABODE with 4 dates in the summer and a boat party.I will also be playing at Space which I’m over the moon about having been going for 15 years. We also have a warm up party every Friday before Sankeys at a brand new rooftop bar in San Antonio.

I tend to adjust my style to the mood and the vibe of a party but I always like to bring some unreleased music and some old school gems.
You’ve started to release your own productions, will these continue to be released whilst you are over in Ibiza?
Im trying to spend every free moment making tracks and should have a EP ready for the summer so watch this space.

It’s such an amazing achievement for me, means so much. I have my own style of music, love my dub techno sounds with droppy bassline.
You’ve all started to release your own productions, will these continue to be released whilst you are over in Ibiza?
Yeah I have been working on a couple tracks which have recently been released. I’m looking forward to chill in Ibiza this summer focus on my music production & ABODE.

I will be playing 5 shows at Sankeys, Ibiza as part of my residency with ABODE. Will be at Space Ibiza on Sunday’s which includes hosting my own room ‘GW Harrison and Friends June 26th . Aboat sunset parties and a few surprise venues that I can not announce yet.

I will be playing nice uplifting house music with hit of techno and tech throughout.

Aboat is the officials ABODE Ibiza boat party that bring the ABODE friends and fun vibe to the sea with a sunset backdrop.

I have 2 tracks waiting for release including my new Remix for Max Chapman & Ellie Cocks ‘Taking over’.

Playing at Space closings will let me play a little differently to how I would do, there’s so many different types of people at Space. It’s a lot more interesting!

Yes.. I have just completed a Remix for Roland Clark’s ‘House Healed Me’ EP which will be coming out on his label over in America in the summer.
