Chicago producer/composer Kate Simko and her seven-piece ensemble London Electronic Orchestra bring an innovative, genre-bending performance to the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room this autumn. Orchestrating instruments into her distinctive electronic soundscapes, Simko draws from a unique and diverse background as a pianist, composer, and revered producer and DJ from Chicago.

Simko debuted LEO at the Britten Theatre of the Royal College of Music in March 2014. Since then her ensemble has performed at an eclectic selection of venues including the National Gallery, iTunes Festival at the Roundhouse, Boiler Room in Ibiza, Latitude Festival, Bestival, MIDEM, and Le Poisson Rouge in New York.

The current core group is an all-female ensemble with Kate on keys and electronics alongside harp, two violins, two cellos, and upright bass.
